Based in the Southwestern United States, Steamworks is an independent film company focused on stories of history and struggle in the West.  Although our projects have a a diverse range and ambition we are dedicated to reestablishing the film industry in the Southwest, to tell the unfinished stories of the West and it’s peoples.  Stories from the early Indian Nations, Spanish traders, Missionaries and Pioneers to Today’s events and Beyond.
